I'm a daily rider but have only worn these a few times now,. They seem like another good pair of boots. Slightly shorter than the originals, with less padding at the top rim, less shin protection, but definitely more comfortable to walk in. The old pair have about 200k miles on them and are still useable, a new zipper and soles and they will become a "guest" pair. I'll let you know in a year or so if they are truly good boots, but based on looks, quality of construction, and materials it's looking positive.
