Skid plate for BMW F900GS - Weight: 2.8Kg - Made from 8mm-thick high-density polyethylene plastic, this skid plate offers a complete protection of the engine block, exhaust, water pump and crankcases, including compatibility with BMW, SW-Motech, and Outback Motortek crash bars. The front and rear mounting systems are bolted directly to the engine block, with a wedge system for added strength. 8mm thick foams are placed on the inside of each side of the skid plate to prevent friction, and on the block under the engine to absorb shocks. HDPE is stronger than carbon and 30 to 40% lighter than its equivalent in aluminum. It returns to its original shape after impacts, allowing it to slide over obstacles.

Read carefully

Purchased this hydraulic clutch assist and expected the “easy installation” as in the product description. When I received the part instructions stated “to get the full effect the clutch return spring must be removed. . It is recommended this be performed by a certified BMW technician”. This would add another $300 to the cost. I contacted MAGURA and they stated more emphatically that the return spring must be removed for the product to work. I returned the product to Sierra with no issues. This issue is with the product description, NOT Sierra BMW. If you feel competent to remove the return spring, the new clutch may be well worth the money. It was not an option for me.

Helmet Great BUT.....

Quality Schuberth Helmet. It would have been 5 stars except for customer service from Sierra. Shipping from Reno to Sacramento took over 3 weeks and more than one phone call to find out where the helmet was. It seems they have to contact a third party to actually get the helmet shipped to them so they can ship it to customer (at least this helmet, they may have other types in stock). Not a pleasant experience at all but saved a couple of $s on tax and shipping. Won't use Sierra again unless I'm in Reno at the store

Socket present

Socket was exact part that had gone out on a previous ride. Sierra BMW always comes through with gifts for hubby’s motorcycle. We’re in TX but will have to make a trip in person someday.
