This entire top case project from Sierra BMW has been a complete disaster. I spent over $1,6000.00 on ths OEM BMW top case. I have invested entire days trying to get this silly lock mechanism (that was included) to fit and work properly into the top case.
Unsuccessful. A complete waste of 2 days of productivity. How hard can it be for Sierra BMW to ship out a tip case with a lock that works. Also, no brake/tail light included.
So frustrating to work with SIerra BMW.

The 49L top case is an outstanding addition to my 2020 R1250RT. It arrived in perfect condition, re-keyed for free as promised, with the key I sent in. Installation was simple. The color matches perfectly. It will be so nice to be able to lock my gloves and helmet and carry needed items for my long cross country trips. I added an aftermarket brake light LED light strip for safety, also a very simple installation. Unfortunatey, the OEM light strip is way overpriced. The aftermarket version looks and functions just fine. The folks at Sierra BMW are outstanding! They actually respond to my texts!! They are my go to BMW dealer.
Which is less and less common these days. The top case arrived in perfect condition, keyed to my bike. I was very pleased with the price and entire process.
