These crash bars are made of high-quality steel (black powder-coated, satin-finished) specifically for the BMW R1300 and perfectly match the look of the motorcycle and the shape and the color of the boxer engine. The crash bar is very stable and ensures an even distribution of forces, which means you and your motorcycle are optimally protected. The crash bar does not have to be removed for standard customer service work and is mounted on the original screw points.
Crash bars offer very good protection, but can limit the lean angle. Also referred to as engine bars, highway bars.
Does not fit in combination with R1300R front spoiler (the front spoiler must be removed)!
Note for mounting additional headlights on the crash bar: the tube diameter of the main tubes is 25mm.
With our mounting kit (item 09262) the original BMW additional headlights can also be mounted.
The diameter of the other pipes is 22mm.
