I ordered this pinlock insert online. Nothing online mentioned that it was backordered. After waiting 3 weeks I called the shop and asked where my order might be? I was informed that it was not in stock and was on backorder from the manufacturer. Well that would have been nice to know before I purchased it from the online store. I was told that they would be shipped to the store next week sometime and then shipped off to me. So.......... I waited a week and nothing. No email, no phone call, no text. Again, I called the store and was told they still had not received the insert. I requested a refund. I was told to be patient and if I could find another one just like it somewhere else to call back in the next couple of days. Well, what do you know, the very next day I received a shipping notice that my pinlock insert was shipped. Hmmmmmm
The bars are GREAT, and the price and customer service were unmatched. Communication was awesome. I wish the shop was closer. They all seemed to be great folks at Sierra. I'll have to stick with online orders, but I can be certain to get great service.
I wanted something a little taller to block wind. This puig on the lower spot is about the equal to stock screen on higher spot. It does block a noticeable amount more and didnt seem to increase buffering anywhere else. It looks nice and seems well designed and should hold up. Not made for easy swapping out though.
Amazing company products and services.
Very high quality genuine products and phenomenal services.
Ordered foot brake extension fory 2007 BMW F800ST, perfect fit and function!
This charger adapter never arrived and Siera never answered my email informing them of the issue.
The folding design prevents breakage during a spill, comes with a choice of two tips- shorter or longer, the shorter worked better for my boots. Easy connection to speed shifter- better than original. The 60 torx nut at the base of the lever is used again, unscrews easily if you have that size torx. A challenge to tighten completely to the connecting bolt inside the frame - that bolt rotates and takes some ingenuity to hold it from inside since it’s right up against the chain sprocket. Instructions only call for a lot of grease, thick enough to help some, I suppose. I never got it completely tight - others have ideas? Thin open wrenches like bicycle mechanics use ?
Picture on website shows mounting bracket that was not included.
Installed just as directed. Could not remove by hand because I tried so I knew it was tight. Less than 150 miles later I look down and boom, it is gone. Giant waste of money. Needs some sort of set screw, not just tension to hold it on.
Easy to install and works great. The notch out for installing does not fit well. I wonder if this is not for a 2023. Have been using it and loving it. It just looks a touch off if you study it closely.
